Please be advised that Public Bank will revise the Safe Deposit rental rates effective 1 January 2009.

The revised rental includes insurance coverage of up to RM10,000.00 per box for contents stored in the Safe Deposit Box for loss or damage as a result of burglary and/or robbery for a sum up to RM10,000.00 which insurance is subject to the terms and conditions of the insurance policy relating thereto.

Customers are advised nevertheless to ensure that the contents of your Safe Deposit Box are adequately insured at all times. Customers may obtain additional insurance cover for the contents of the Safe Deposit Box at own cost and expense from an insurer of your choice.

Should you need additional insurance cover, please contact the branch where you maintain the safe deposit box for details of the Bank's insurance plan which offers extra coverage for each Safe Deposit Box from a low annual premium of RM18.00.
